Mr. Dorta has participated in over 500+ real estate transactions and is responsible for Brickell Capital’s investment decisions and long-term business goals. Mr. Dorta manages investor relationships, private and non-performing loans, deal structuring, capital sourcing, loan servicing portfolios, loan workouts and foreclosure litigation. Mr. Dorta holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from St Thomas University and a Graduate Degree from the University of Miami.
Jose Lozano is the head of business development at Brickell Capital with more than 25 yrs of experience in the financial advisory and wealth management industry. Mr. Lozano handles capital sourcing, family offices and private investor relationships. Mr. Lozano also handles the origination of commercial loans, new construction and non-performing loans. Mr. Lozano holds a bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Miami.
Marco Huaman handles capital sourcing and non-performing loans at Brickell Capital with over 23 years of experience in the debt and equity financing industry. In this regard, Mr. Huaman has represented institutional investors in bulk debt acquisitions, subscription and warehouse lines of credit, syndicated debt structuring, loan participation and restructuring on non-performing assets. Mr. Huaman has a degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacifico (Peru), a degree in Software Engineering from University of Florida and a certification of Financial Instruments and Investments from Columbia Business School.
Gary Burman handles institutional banking relationships and non-performing loans at Brickell Capital with over 25 yrs of experience in investment banking, debt and equity transactions, construction loans and private mortgage lending industry. In this regard, Mr Burman has participated in over $1 Billion in commercial mortgage loan transactions. As a residential developer, Mr. Burman acquired and constructed several large condominium residential projects in Florida. Mr Burman has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from University of Florida and a Graduate Banking Degree from Stonier School of Banking, Rutgers University.
